St. Catherine Municipal Corporation Youth Mayor 2021-2022
St. Catherine’s 2021-2022 Youth Mayor Ms. Kemoy Perry, presented at the Local Government and Rural Development annual Youth Mayors’ Forum held yesterday, November 24, 2021 at the Trelawny Municipal Corporation on the following theme for Local Government Month “Local Government at the Forefront of Building Back Stronger”.
From her presentation, one of her salient point was to highlight that “the greatest asset that any nation has, whether first world or third world, is its human resource. The only way to build back stronger is to ensure that our people are equipped with the tools to develop self to contribute positively to society, because truth be told building back requires community effort”.
The Youth Mayors' Forum 2021 was a success amidst the ongoing battle with Covid-19.
