The St Catherine Municipal Corporation has nine (9) Markets namely:-

Old Harbour and Old Harbour Bay (Lease)
Location: The intersection of East Street and Market Street

Spanish Town
Location: Between Cumberland Road and Adelaide Street
Type of activity: Traditional Market Equip with Bathroom Facilities

Linstead  
Location: Between King Street and Fletchers Avenue
Type of activity: Traditional Market equip with Bathroom Facilities

Kitson Town (Lease)
Location:  Kitson Town Main Road
Type of activity: Slaughter House equip with Bathroom Facilities

Lluidas Vale (Lease)
Location: Main Street Lluidas Vale
Type of activity: Commercial Activities and Traditional Market equip with Bathroom Facilities
 
Ewarton
Location: Main Street Ewarton

Bog Walk

Guys Hill

Also the implementation of a Taxi Park to come on stream.  Equip with Bathroom Facilities.             

Spanish Town Markets
Presently, the council is engaged in major repair work at the Spanish Town Market, this project started from Labour Day and has continued; the works includes refurbishing of the male and female sanitary block, replacement of the roof of the dry goods area and repair to the roof of the meat vending areas. These works are about 80% complete. This program to date amounts to about 8.5million.

Linstead Market
There is also refurbishing work been conducted at the Linstead Market, this work is been undertaken by the UDC upon the instructions of the Honorable Prime Minister Portia Simpson – Miller.
 
Registration for all Markets
The Corporation is also engaged in the annual registration of vendors in all Markets across the Parish. This registration drive is to assist the corporation in its planning for the welfare of these vendors and to meet the terms of the sale of goods in Public Places Regulation.
