ST. CATHERINE JUNIOR COUNCILLORS TOUCHING LIVES OF SENIORS
The Junior Councillors of the St. Catherine Municipal Corporation brought comfort and love to several senior citizens in the parish recently. Armed with warm cuddly blankets and other personal items, the team visited the homes of seniors in the Windsor Heights community and issued the items, which were gladly received.
Junior Mayor, Jevaughn Gordon expressed that “…being able to donate items to these elderly people who are often forgotten, not only warms our hearts, but gives us the assurance that we are making Jamaica better through these small acts of kindness.”
With the assistance of Food for the Poor and the Municipality, the Junior Councillors were able to undertake this project.
