Linstead and Old Harbour Bay ‘Signed’

The St. Catherine Municipal Corporation, Local Sustainable Development Plan Project (LSDP), recently installed two well needed signs in Linstead and Old Harbour Bay, respectively.

The ‘Welcome to Linstead’ and ‘You are now leaving Linstead’ signs showcases the basket of fruits and vegetables, with the noticeable ackee fruit protruding. The brand Linstead Market became fashionable at the instance of the folksong, ‘Carry mi ackee goh a Linstead Market’ many years ago.  

Old Harbour Bay Fishing Village, one of the Island’s largest fishing villages that sees which sees customers from not only St. Catherine but neighboring parishes was also signed, ‘Welcome to Old Harbour Bay Fishing Village’ and ‘You are now leaving Old harbor bay Fishing Village’.
