Jamaica Constabulary Force batch of 1977 continues to donate to St. Catherine Infirmary
For over twenty (20) years the Jamaica Constabulary Force, batch of 1977 have been making meaningful donations to the St. Catherine Infirmary. The group looks forward every year to not only donate, but to also interact with residents. In some instances residents are bussed off to outing trips to the beach and mineral baths.
Earlier this month of September, Mr. R. Wedderburn, President and the group visited and donated 5 wheelchairs, 7 walkers, used clothing and a case of tissue paper.
There to officially receive the gifts were Acting Chief Executive Officer of the St. Catherine Municipal Corporation Mr. Andre Griffiths and Matron of the Infirmary Mrs. Keisha Miller Wain.
Mr. Griffiths, our acting CEO expressed thanks and appreciation to Mr. Wedderburn and the team for the donations and involvement with the Infirmary over the years. He said he hopes the relationship will be maintained.
Matron Miller-Wain shared similar sentiments and presented Mr. Wedderburn and the Police, Batch of 1977 with a Certificate of Appreciation for their involvement and support to the St. Catherine Infirmary over the years.
