THE PICTURESQUE EMANCIPATION SQUARE
August is just around the corner and the Spirit of Independence is in the air!
The decorations are up and Emancipation Square, Spanish Town is a picture perfect view with the national colors and the colors of the 2016 Festival Fashion theme (Gold and Stripes) to celebrate Emancipation and Independence.
Thumbs up to St. Catherine Parish Council and its hard working team for another spectacular display. Having won last year’s JCDCs Best Decorated Town Square Competition for Independence, it is our hope that we will do it again this year.
Council is overwhelmed at the feedback it has so far been getting from the public.
As we anticipate Independence Day, August 6, 2016, let us all join in the festivities and “Wear it in Gold and Stripe it Bold”.
