St. Catherine Parish Council Supports St. Catherine Parish Library’s 2015 Reading Competition
Reading is a fundamental function in today’s society, and the St. Catherine Parish Library continues to sustain reading at every level.
The St. Catherine Parish Council too supports the endeavor and was quick to jump on board when the management of the Library asked for our support in this their 2015 Reading Competition series held in July 2015. His Worship the Mayor of Spanish Town and Chairman of the St. Catherine Parish Council, Councillor Norman Scott and Secretary/Manager, Mr. Michael Morris was proud to have contributed and helped make the event a success.
Miss Paulette Benji, Senior Librarian at the St. Catherine Parish Library took great pleasure in awarding the gifts to Parish Champions Taneisha Kennedy in the 15-21 category and Nicole Hutchinson, in the 21 and over category respectively. Taneisha and Nicole will now advance to the finals at the National level on August 27, 2015.
