St. Jago High School, paid a courtesy visit to His Worship the Mayor of Spanish Town

The TVJ’s 2023 Schools’ Challenge Quiz victorious team, the St. Jago High School, paid a courtesy visit to His Worship the Mayor of Spanish Town, Councillor Norman Scott on Friday, April 21, 2023.
The Mayor congratulated the team on their victory and expressed how proud he is to be the Mayor of this parish in which the St. Jago High school is located.
Upon request, the team introduced themselves by stating the position played on the team and what they aspire to be in the future. The Mayor expressed that the Corporation was elated about their achievement in the competition with two (2) consecutive victories.
The St. Catherine Municipal Corporation pledged to donate $275,000.00 to the St. Jago High School to celebrate its victory of the TVJ’s Schools’ Challenge Quiz competition. The team is to attend the next sitting of the General Council Meeting slated to be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 in the Council’s meeting room where they will be introduced to the Councillors and presented with the donation.
