St. Catherine Festival Queen 2018 Contestants Visits Mayor of Spanish Town

Following the Sashing Ceremony for the Miss St. Catherine Festival Queen Competition held on Thursday, May 17, a courtesy call was made on His Worship the Mayor of Spanish Town, Councillor Norman Scott, by nine of eleven ladies, in his Parlour, Emancipation Square, Spanish Town, Thursday morning, May 24, 2018.

Mayor Scott welcomed and greeted the ladies warmly.  He told them how proud he was of them and expressed that they are all winners and are beautiful.

He further encouraged them to not take the competition lightly; instead they should prepare as best as they can and be bold. He charged them to use their talents to the best of their abilities and whoever comes out the winner, it is hoped that she will go further to winning the title for the parish of St. Catherine.
 He extended best wishes to them not only in the contest, but in future endeavours.

The Miss St. Catherine Festival Queen Coronation is scheduled to be held on Sunday, June 03, 2018 at the Eltham High School premises at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are available at the JCDCs office, King Street, Spanish Town.  For adults ($1,000.00) presold, ($1,200.00) at the gate; children under 12 years old, ($400.00) presold and ($500.00) at the gate.
