Miss St. Catherine Festival Queen Coronation 2017
Miss Jamaica Energy Partners, Joselle Fisher was crowned Jamaica Cultural Development Corporation (JCDC) Festival Queen 2017. The coronation was held on the grounds of the Eltham Park High School, Spanish Town on Sunday, May 21, 2017.
The twenty one-year-old won ahead of Miss Shannon Johnson, who wore the sash of the Municipality of Portmore and was first runner-up. Twenty-two year old Nibbian Morgan, Miss EduCom Cooperative Credit Union was second runner-up.
Fisher also collected awards for being the Most Poised and Most Involved in Community Activities.
Mayor of Spanish Town Councillor Norman Scott who was unavoidably absent was represented by Councillor Patricia Harris.
Portmore’s Mayor, Mr. Leon Thomas was also in attendance to offer support to the contestant the Municipality sponsored.
