NEW DEVELOPMENT AT THETFORD CEMETERY
Its official! Construction works have finally started at the St. Catherine Municipal Corporation owned, Thetford Cemetery, situated at Church Pen Old Harbour.
Chief Engineering Officer Mr. Everton Ricketts has confirmed that the structure for the chapel is now at lintel height, and work is ongoing. He noted too that National Irrigation Commission has given permission for pipes to be laid. So far pipes have been laid along the proposed roadway to provide water at the premises.
The St. Catherine Municipal Corporation awaits additional funds for further development of the facility.
