Jamaica Day means “Jamaica Day” – St. Catherine Municipal Corporation
As thousands of students in educational institutions across Jamaica observed and celebrated Jamaica Day Friday, February 23, St. Catherine Municipal Corporation staff members seized too, the opportunity to show their true colours.
We caught up some staff members who don the Jamaican colours, black, gold and green, African apparel and bandana to show appreciation for the culture and our awesome heritage.
One staff member had this to say, “If the day is about celebrating Jamaica, why not celebrate! A we seh represent”.
Jamaica Day 2018 was observed under the theme ‘Celebrating Jamaica: Nurturing our Natural and Cultural Heritage’.
