Councillor Norman Scott is currently the Chairman of the St. Catherine Municipal Corporation and Mayor of Spanish Town. He is a board member at the Rural Water Supply Limited, and chairman of St. Claire’s Basic School.
Born in Spanish Town, he received his early education at Crescent Primary School and later the Dinthill Technical High School. He also studied at the College of Arts Science and Technology (now University of Technology) and the University of the West Indies.
He has been Councillor of the Greendale Division since 1998. As a political representative, he is passionate about community development and urban renewal.
In addition to being a member of several social clubs, he enjoys cricket, football, basketball, netball and swimming.
Councillor Scott is married and has four children.
