Special District Constable Sworn In

Althea Bernard, Municipal Police, St. Catherine Municipal Corporation, on Thursday, October 20th, under the Constables (Special) Act, took the Parish Special Constable Oath in the Mayor’s Parlour, Emancipation Square, Spanish Town, and was sworn in as Parish Special Constable for the parish of St. Catherine.

The act was carried out by Mr. Phillip Keane Dawes, Justice of the Peace for the parish of St. Catherine and was witnessed by Mayor Norman Scott, Chairman of the St. Catherine Municipal Corporation, Mr. Michael Morris, JP., Chief Executive Officer, Commercial Services Manager, Mr. Upton Fisher and other Municipal Corporation personnel.

The antecedent Report from the Senior Superintendent of Police, i/c St. Catherine North Division, Burke Road, Spanish Town, dated June 07, 2016, recommended Miss Bernard as a suitable individual.

Miss Bernard assumed duties as Municipal Police December 2014.
