Youth Summer Employment Programme 2020
The St. Catherine Municipal Corporation Youth Summer Employment Programme (YSEP) for the parish of St. Catherine commenced on Monday, August 10, 2020.
The programme is in its fourth year and has employed over 585 participants for a period of four (4) weeks.
Orientation sessions were held for three (3) days at the New Life Community Church located in De La Vega City, Spanish Town, St. Catherine; where participants were given an overview of the programme and the task to be undertaken. The areas of focus will be the continuation of streetlight and garbage collection audits and to support the Social Development Commission (SDC).
The programme is funded by the Ministry of Local Government and Community Development.
